Legal Aid of North Carolina's Battered Immigrant Project (BIP) provides immigration assistance to immigrant victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. The BIP will represent victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in removal proceedings provided the victims meet our intake and income eligibility requirements. We also provide technical assistance and training to domestic violence and sexual assault agencies, as well as other social service providers.

Other information: | Services are subject to LSC funding restrictions. New clients should contact the toll-free number for intake on Tuesdays 3:30 - 7:30 and Thursdays 9-1. Advocates from domestic violence and sexual assault agencies, or other social service organizations, can contact BIP staff directly via email. We have access to language assistance services and interpreters and serve clients who speak any language. |
