Organization Description:

Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA), a private, non-profit law firm, envisions a day when communities in Los Angeles are strong enough to decide their own destiny; where access to justice is not predicated on social economic status; and everyone has income security, adequate housing, quality education, healthcare and the opportunity to improve their own lives.

NLS provides free legal services to low-income individuals. NLS utilizes a multi-dimentional delivery system of services, including direct client counseling and representation, court based self-help legal access centers, domestic violence clinics, workers' rights clinics and telephone hotlines. Pro Bono Opportunities: Wide range of pro bono opportunities, including direct representation, advice or assistance at our community and court based centers and clinics. Substantive training provided. Bilingual attorneys especially needed. Locations include: Glendale, Pacoima, El Monte, San Fernando, Van Nuys, Pasadena, Pomona, and Lancaster.
