Dispute Resolution Center (DRC)

DRC is dedicated to restoring and empowering communities by promoting the constructive resolution of conflict through open communication and shared decision-making.  Founded in 1982 as a pilot project co-sponsored by the Ramsey County Bar Association, the City of Saint Paul, and the MN Supreme Court, DRC is the oldest community mediation program in Minnesota.

With a roster of over 200 volunteers, we are always welcoming new mediators who are MN Rule 114 qualified  and community members interested in being trained in Restorative Practices to repair harm with circles of support.

Our work is driven by the needs of the community, which has led us to expand our services to include Civil, Family and Community Mediation, Restorative Justice & Diversion, Restorative Practices Training, Community Healing Circles of Support, and Youth Development. From classrooms to courthouses, we lead by creating safe, equitable, healing spaces where every voice is heard, and people can build a culture of collaboration and community in a range of diverse settings.
