Human Options

Human Options provides safe haven and life changing programs to help abused women, their children and families rebuild their lives - and works with the community to break the cycle of domestic violence. We provide safety, healing, and a way forward from domestic violence for battered women and children who are in a dangerous situation due to an abusive relationship. Our services include: Emergency Shelter and Transitional Living, Children and Families Counseling Center, Community Education, and 40 Hr. State Mandated Advocate Training.

Legal Advocacy is one of many services we offer to our clients. Our legal advocates educate clients about the legal options available to them, and then work with them to safety plan and set goals. Once those goals are established, the advocates assist the clients in linking them with resources primarily to help them obtain restraining orders, U-Visa and VAWA applications, and more in depth information on family law matters.
