Levitt Quinn Family Law Center

The mission of Levitt Quinn Family Law Center is to provide affordable legal representation in family law matters to low-income families of Los Angeles County to ensure stability for children and their families in the face of legal difficulties.

ADOPTION PROGRAM

Levitt & Quinn's Adoption Program, the only one of its kind in Los Angeles County, provides expert legal help to create family stability and prevent further harm to children in need of a permanent, loving home.  Most of these cases are intrafamily adoptions in which a relative seeks to protect a child whose biological parent is unwilling or unable to care for the child.

THE KIDS FUND

The Kids Fund provides free family law services to the financially neediest families in cases related to the safety and well-being of minor children.  Families receive representation in cases including, but not limited to, custody, child and spousal support, visitation, and domestic violence.

THE SHRIVER PROJECT

Since 2011, Levitt & Quinn has participated in a pilot project created by California's Sargent Shriver Civil Counsel Act.  By referral only, Levitt & Quinn gives free legal services to low income families in high stakes, high conflict custody disputes where the other side is already represented by an attorney.  A large percentage of these cases involve domestic violence, child abuse, and other serious claims that affect children.

Levitt Quinn's attorneys practice in key areas of family law including adoption, child support or spouse support, custody, visitation, domestic violence, marital dissolution and paternity. Each year we receive more than 6,000 inquiries, provides legal information and services to more than 1,500 families, accept more than 800 clients for representation and make hundreds of court appearances on behalf of those clients. Priority is given to cases involving the safety and well-being of children.
