The Southern Maryland Center for Family Advocacy

The Southern Maryland Center for Family Advocacy (SMCFA) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency whose function is to provide advocacy, legal assistance and information/referral to victims of domestic violence in the Southern Maryland region. The Center's main office is located on Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood. Full-time offices are also located at both St. Mary's County District Court in Leonardtown and the District Court for Calvert County in Prince Frederick.
Staff attorneys provide victims of domestic abuse with legal advice and representation at Protective Order hearings and other proceedings related to family law and family violence.
