Nearly 11 million of our friends and neighbors are at risk of deportation. Recent executive actions against refugees, immigrants and other vulnerable individuals make clear the need to take action in support of immigrants’ rights. We must act now to ensure fair treatment and due process for all. I am writing today to ask you to join me in taking a pledge to protect members of our communities at risk.
Pro Bono Net, along with the Immigration Advocates Network and other leading immigrants' rights organizations with whom we work closely, is launching a new campaign to engage lawyers and other professionals around the country in skill-based volunteering to protect the rights of immigrants.

#STANDWITHIMMIGRANTS (www.standwithimmigrants.org) is a national campaign to connect lawyers, mental health professionals, translators, interpreters and others ready to use their skills to protect the rights of immigrants, to expert training, advocacy, volunteer opportunities and support.
Those who take the pledge will receive:
-
free training on immigration law and immigrant rights;
-
access to volunteer guides and opportunities;
-
connections to local, state and national advocacy opportunities; and
-
guidance on engaging with government and businesses around inclusive policies.
As a member of the probono.net network, we know you share our dedication to ensuring access to justice for our most vulnerable neighbors. I hope you will your support by taking the pledge, and sharing this pledge with your networks. Go to www.standwithimmigrants.org to sign up and stand with us today.
Thank you,

Mark O'Brien
Executive Director
